Food trucks gather on Tuesdays for a food cart rally in Smitties parking lot on Adams & Howard. We stopped by last week and indulged in Slow Cal BBQ. The food is great and the menu is hilarious – You have to decipher the menu when you order.

There are plenty of food trucks for all tastes, come one come all!

Adams Avenue bike shop, Blind Lady Ale House and Alpine Beer Co. put on a raffle to win a woman’s Schwinn in November. The raffle was held at the blind Lady Ale house, Adams avenue bikes supplied the steed and Alpine Beer co well the Beer. I would like to thank the Blind Lady Ale House Best Craft Beer in San Diego! for holding the raffle for my Schwinn ‘Nancy” bike. I would also like to thank Adams Avenue Bikes the best bike shop in San Diego for supplying the bike and Alpine Beer Co for supplying the best local brew in San Diego!.

My friends and I ordered the flights of beer from Alpine Brewery. While we were drinking the flights we met Pat Mcilhenney – Owner and Brew Master of Alpine Beer Co.  after a great conversation about all things hops we headed back home not thinking anything about the raffle. In the morning I woke up to a message on my phone saying I had won the bike!
