The cottage in Normal Heights was newly renovated. Everything was brand new and they didn’t spare expenses – all new furniture, kitchen appliances, bathroom fixtures, a great queen-sized pillow-top bed, flat-screen TV with DirectTV and virtually all the premium channels. The Normal Heights neighborhood had numerous restaurants, coffee shops and stores. The Nearby Kensington neighborhood offered even more upscale restaurants and shops. An Albertson’s was within walking distance. Balboa Park and the SD zoo were within a few miles. A few miles further were downtown and the bay. I would recommend the cottage for any single person or couple looking for a central location in San Diego.
